The food at The Ranch is always good. The veal was tender and cooked just right. The baked potato was also very nice.
Complaints. This is the 2nd visit in a row that they had run out of the special of the day and we had to choose another entree.
As well, they had run out of coleslaw (side) that was on the menu for the veal. Our table was not properly set when we sat down, and even had to ask for a spoon for the coffees after they had been brought. We had to flag down a waitress... and had to ask for knives and forks. Service was slow as well.
This is not normal for The Ranch... and we will try them again as the food is very good.

Fish and Chips every friday night, you can't go wrong. I have loved almost everything i have had off the menu. Great breakfast too, Ranchman's Breakfast, two eggs, toast, peameal/ham/bacon/sausage homefries! You cant go wrong and you will be full, for under $5!!!
Go there as soon as you can!
The half-chicken dinner is my favourite and I almost always order it - it's big enough for two , so I take part home for my wife. On Sundays the special is Roast Turkey and well worth the drive from Peterborough where we live

the meals were delicous! the food was quick and hot to our tables, served by very friendly servers. the atmosphere was very cheerfull and we actually heard music we hadnt heard in a long time1 its been a long time since we had such a home cooked meal in a restaurant that even had "real potatoes"
