Milton Heights Campground

I booked nine nights , July 4 th onward. I arrive after a long trip from New Hampshire. I pull up to the stop sign and then proceed to the gate. There is no clear instructions upon entry. The lady tells me to proceed through the gate and enter back into the office. The owner intercepts me and kicks me out. This is an unbelievable experience. I’m a seasoned r v er. Never had one issue in three years in Canada or the u s , until I drove in here. Avoid if you can.

Controlling owner, micromanages everyone. Yells at the guests when they contravene any of his four pages of rules. Also makes up rules on the spot that you will never knew you are breaking because he never posts them and never tells you. Also applies rules differently to each camper.Overpriced. They rip you off on the electricity as well. Nice office staff. The grounds are impeccable because the crazy owner is obsessed with his grass. Do not even leave a cooler on it, he will rip your head off.

Great staff, nice owners. Really close to the city. Lots to do around he area. Clean lots and bathrooms.

Overpriced. The RV sites are SO close together, uneven and not maintained properly. The staff are sticklers and are constantly driving by giving you the eyeballs, telling you to move your truck in a straight line, comment on messes (that you plan on cleaning!) If you need a place to rest your head and pull in- fine- but don't plan a vacation here.

Was not a good experience at all. They say wifi. No wiffi. Only by the office. Heated pool, only by the sun. Campsites very uneven and large stones that cripple your feet. Someone had pooped in the pool while we were there. I can understand , close it down, back wash and then chemicals. But 24hrs. Nobody was even neat it for the first 6 hrs after it happened. Nestled nicely between 2 Hwys. Good luck with leaving the windows open for a peaceful sleep. Very disappointing for the high price
