We visited Eddie's for a quick meal on the way home, feeling too tired to cook and not being dressed well enough to feel comfortable at some of our usual haunts. We went in with low expectations and were very quickly proven wrong. Our server was very attentive and engaging, the menu selection was fairly standard but the quality of the food was not - it was far above average. My friend enjoyed his hamburger (I think there was a special name for it - Kowalski burger or something) a lot - he swore it was the best he'd had in a restaurant. The fries were fresh and perfectly browned (I stole a couple), and the gravy was delicious.
I opted for a very late breakfast, and it was about the best breakfast I have eaten. The eggs were cooked just as I asked (I am very finicky about my egg preparation), everything was fresh and delicious - the whole meal was excellent.
The atmosphere is casual and both the staff and clientèle are welcoming and friendly. More importantly, the service is excellent and the informal atmosphere means you don't have to feel bad about approaching your server for anything extra if you feel the need between their frequent visits to ensure your enjoyment.
Definitely will return, definitely enjoyed the food and definitely recommend this place to all.

Atmosphere is great, nothing fancy but very friendly. If you want a good grease fix or really good buffalo chips this is the place to go. Breakfast is the best in town and the beer is colder than anywhere else.
It's a great place to go to watch a game or hang out. Servers are excellent..
