Quality of the food was terrible. I found bits of steel wool in my food. I checked up on their Food Premises Inspection record and found they had conditional passes in their history. The service is absolutely terrible. The workers are rude and it takes forever to order food. I would avoid this place like the Bubonic plague.
The food is the tastiest and cheapest in Toronto. Its the VERY best.
One thing though, the service is HORRIBLE!
The people don't smile, their attitude is horrible and they're extremely SLOW!
The management team needs to either have a talk with the staff and ask for change or fire ALL of them and replace them with good,friendly people.

I'm so glad I went to this place. I drive around the city a lot and have noticed the signs for good priced food, so I thought I'd give it a chance. I've been to the location on Keele and the one on Overlea. At Keele, even though they weren't open yet, the cook let me buy a lunch through the side door. It was a quarter chicken, chopped into 3 pieces, crispy fried, with "rice and peas", coleslaw, and a drink. $5 flat. Today was jerk chicken with a delicious jerk sauce, rice and peas, steamed veggies, and another one of their own drinks.
I simply can't ask for more. I know my cheap eats, and this is number one as far as I'm concerned.
The people complaining about waiting? Spend more money somewhere else and you won't have to wait. It's part and parcel if you're paying $5 for a full lunch. Anyway, I didn't experience long waits.
I purchased two lunch specials which included rice and peas with fried chicken and cole slaw. The food was fantastic and the sauce that they put on the chicken was sooooo delicious. The sauce speaks for its self. It needs to be bottled and sold seperately, it was so good, just finger licking good.
Keep that good food going guys. I LOVE IT! This place is the only place that I would buy take out food.

CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: HAVE TO WAIT TOO LONG AND REPRESENTATIVES DON'T SEEM TO CARE....MOVE VERY SLOWLY AT THEIR OWN PACE, NEED TO ALSO BE MORE PROFESSIONAL IN THAT YOU ARE PROVIDING SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS BETTER YET PEOPLE- WHO ARE SPENDING THEIR MONEY!
FOOD IS AWESOME THOUGH. LOVE IT LOVE IT, CAN'T GET ENOUGH!
