I had a well pump failure at 1.30pm yesterday. Thanks to C&N a new pump was installed and water was back flowing before 5pm! Great job! This was the fourth time that I have used C&N over the last 20 years, and I have always been very impressed with their response time, work quality, and professionalism. Our party of 6 sat out on the patio for our supper on a beautiful sunny day at the end of May. The service was good and for the most part the food was ok except for two out of our party who ordered the hamburgers. Its disappointing that they can't make the effort to make their own patties. Espcially considering our wait time. Its not like the food was served super fast. In fact, it took a while but we didn't mind as we weren't in a rush. Anyways, the burger patties are the kind of processed "precooked" patties that you can buy in the frozen food section at a grocery store. Rubbery and very off putting. A disappointment! I had the NY strip steak, not bad but I ordered rare and it wasn't rested when they served it. Not a big deal. We also had the calamari, zuccini sticks and patotoe skins for appetizers. All passable but nothing to write home about. I'd go back again for a drink and an appetizer but I probably wouldn't have a meal. I love the pub inside, very old school british pub feel. I think it would be cosy in the winter. The patio has a great view and is a nice place to go for a drink. Lire plus

I have traveled around the world more than once in my life time, and La Piazza is on my top 3 Italian Restaurants. There is a science to cooking pasta right, you cant just throw everything in a pan and cook it. You can tell they take their time with each dish, and it just tastes magnificent. I originally went for a business meeting, and some how the meeting started to revolve around the food. Great tasting Italian food Period. Lire plus

We were at Main Street Cellar last Friday and it was a packed house! We had some items off of their Table d'Houte (a seafood Sheppard's Pie and Lamb Kefta skewers). It was really tasty and creative. The wine selection by the glass was amazing. We got to try a few different kinds. The server was great, she was very friendly and her wine and food knowledge was excellent.
