1. We saw tons of whales! Humpbacks and Orcas. One came right up to the boat to! Also saw lots of really huge sealions.
2. The boat ride itself was super fun. I was with my sister and her 2 kids (8 and 13) and we were on the Gold Wing Scarab boat which covered lots of ground super quick. Safe for the kids but like a roller coaster up and down going over some huge swell! SO MUCH FUN! ... and nobody barfed. haha
3. The scenery cannot be beat with the mountain view and ocean breeze.

Loved my trip to Tahiti! The agent had been all over the South Pacific and booked me at a beautiful overwater bungalow in Bora Bora and then a quiet Guest House in Moorea. I'll be using them again.

Wow! Quelle aventure toute la famille a vécue en juillet 2018.
Arrêt à Pirates Cove à l’aide d’un bateau «Zodiac» (les enfants ont adoré!) pour une randonnée pédestre qui nous a dégourdi les jambes; baignade dans une baie, observation de mammifères marins et souper au coucher de soleil font partie de nos souvenirs de notre expédition en voilier.
Capitaine Chris est très agréable, compétant et expérimenté !
Que dire de plus! Aucun regret, que de beaux souvenirs !

We had Don of Hudson Bay Charters haul our boat from storage near Chemainus down to the dock in Ladysmith. It was very tight due to another vehicle parked in the way but he skillfully and patiently maneuvered his truck until he was able to get it safely out of there. We really appreciate his ability and friendly manner. We will hire him again anytime!!
