Just wanted to say I have been bringing my kids , grandkids and friends here 15 years. It is always excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. But today I mostly want to say I love the format and layout of the new menu— it is so much easier to understand— the description of the sauce then the meat choices under it and the hot level. The dark background and white print very easy to read. A nice border all the basics eg address phone a d allergy symbols. Just so easy for the novice .

This is my "Go To" grocery store. This is a great grocery store! Always stocked shelves and helpful staff. I have found the floral and deli departments to always be helpful and efficient. It is true, you must always phone the local store when sending flowers. I frequently send flowers long distance via Safeway, but always phone the local store during local business hours.

Great service. Ive been shopping at this location for many years buying my organic produce. Mostly I am dealing with the produce department and had nothing but the best of service including in the area of special orders I place. Whenever I had any interaction with the staff from other departments my experience was very good as well. Will continue shopping here.

Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer.

The store in owned by such incredibly kind people, the type that make you feel like family when you go in. I Love Saveon foods... I am 83 year old senior and i totally depend on them... just had 2 falls and and hip surgery ... Patrick the IRISMAN... was just here delivering so kind making sure i got everything i ordered... He said my name is Patrick... i looked at him and said you are an IRISHMAN HE started laughing and said yes he was... W e need more people like him.... He made and old Senior happy by being so kind...You cannot go wrong with Safeon....

The lady(owner) not sure if her name, is absolutely the most helpful kindest person! I was in to buy boxes, as they are a Uhaul outlet, and didn't have exactly what I needed so she went out of her way to find me a box for free in her storage that would work! The younger man also is great, so pleasant to deal with. Great customer service!

The store is clean, selection is decent even with the Covid 19, staff is generally helpful. Their prices are good, beyond competitive on most things though you do need to watch the expiry dates on some items. Only time I shop elsewhere these days is if they dont have something I absolutely need.

I visit the store to pick up my UPS parcels. The shop is small with a bit of everything. The proprietor may seem stern but he's quite a nice fellow once you get to know him. He's always been very pleasant with me. I'm amazed at how hard he works: 7 days a week, twelve hours each day. That earns my respect!

The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. One can find all kinds of teas, from Wulong to Mucha, from China to Japan to Korea. Nesters is another great example of a quality neighbourhood grocery store. They have a great deli offering ready made foods and a great selection of drinks as well as a fantastic produce section offering many organics. Their freezer section also carries a wide variety of products not often seen in your typical grocery store. The meats are great and they have a fantastic seafood selection in a fresh case. The only small knock is that their prices are sometimes a titch higher but they do offer great specials and have a weekly flyer that offers some great deals. That said we love Nesters and our child LOVES the little shopping carts she can push around the store. Nesters is a great spot for all your grocery needs!
