I had a delicious meal at Deerhurst. My steak was cooked perfectly and my salad was divine. Our server was excellent and the decor was beautiful. My only complaint was that the atmosphere was too loud. We had dinner on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Due to the high ceilings we could hardly hear each other.

I cant say enough good things about this restaurant! I always take out of town visitors there because I would rather visit than cook, and their food is superb. They are friendly, reasonably priced, the service is great, and the atmosphere is cheerful.

I really like this place. I've been several times, including it being the destination of a weekend drive from Newmarket. I will definitely go back!
The food is admittedly expensive, but I also think it is very good (the exception being the falafel pita I had once, which is absolutely horrible).

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Parkway.We were there for 4 nights from July 4-8. The staff was very helpful and friendly and our room was very comfortable and clean. We only had breakfasts in the hotel restaurant and found it very good. One of the indoor pools was being repaired so we did not see it. The other pool (Sheraton section), however, was crowded on the nights we were there. This might have been because the other pool was closed, I guess. All in all, a great hotel!

Food is really good. Staff are friendly and service is fantastic. I was greeted at the door immediately and had a cold beer within 2 minutes. I ordered hot wings on my first visit and suicide wings on my second visit. The hot wings are not very hot so if you like hot, order the suicide.

Tonight’s dinner was amazing! Zaina (sorry if spelled wrong) was an amazing friendly, professional and down to earth server. Truly a pleasant night! The atmosphere on the patio was great! The food was absolutely perfect and delicious!
I had the filet mignon with the cauliflower mash which was absolutely amazing!

We have visited many Italian reataurants throughout Ontario from Brockville to Niagara Falls, Oshawa to North Bay and Avanti's in Oshawa is number one. Not because we live here, because of the food, the service, the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of this establishment. Their Fusilli in Bianco is our favorite. We have dined there many times before Oshawa Generals Hockey games and Shows at the newly renovated Regent Theatre. And we are so proud to mention Avanti's everywhere we go. They bring out the pride in Oshawa when it comes to dining out.

What a treat we had in Port Perry after a couple of hours out on the water. The main dining room was full so we were shown a table in a private room which we had all to ourselves. Both the service and the food was excellent. The owner, Christie, was friendly and down to earth making us feel very welcome. A couple of us had food restrictions which were easily accommodated. The homemade ice cream was a exceptional way to end a delicious lunch. I’ll definitely go back!

We are Maids Cottage regulars and have rarely if ever been disappointed. The food is as close to home cooked as you will ever get in any restaurant, in any city, anywhere in the world. We're not talking Haute Cuisine here but Comfort Food. Any of the rare times there has been anything that I didn't like or took to long (they can be very,very busy at times) the staff has been more than accommodating about making it right. The service is fast, friendly and personal. And yes the butter tarts are as good as everyone says.

My husband and I used Pickles & Olives Bistro for our wedding catering this past August. It is no secret in this restaurant community as to the reason for certain negative reviews. It is just so sad and appalling that this is going on. My only wish is that the reviews being posted by “virtual” customers cease as it is becoming, quite frankly, very tiresome and extremely predictable. Let’s leave this space for “authentic” customers. It is incomprehensible how this continues. When success is achieved through honesty, morals and a strong work ethic it is a shame that those who do not share these qualities try to ride the coattails of those who do and take the low road by continually trying to defame them. I wish the family run La Mexicanada Restaurant continued success. After 9 years of backbreaking hard work and a strong devotion to their customers and paisanos they deserve nothing less. The food is 100% authentic, the recipes are from the owner’s own family, who by the way are an “authentic” Mexican family still residing in “authentic” Mexico.
