Excellent rescue when the car died at 49th Parallel Grocery. Service was friendly, and efficient. We were towed to the mechanic and then driven home. Maurice is in business because hes good at his job.

Had Excalibur over to repair my dishwasher and fix some trim on my stove since he was over anyway. He was able to come over right away which was nice. He ended up having to order some parts and had to come back to complete the job but everything went well. I would recommend them to anyone in the Cobble Hill/Mill Bay area needing appliance repairs.

Made a custom laundry counter top out of plywood ends - fit the space perfectly, was exactly what I had ordered and I received many compliments on the unique design! Dan at Affordable sure knows a lot about vacuums. He has been selling them for over 20 years. He was very helpful to me in choosing a vacuum. He asked questions about where I would be using it and what type of flooring I would be cleaning. I was very happy to find out that he also services everything he sells. That sure beats a trip to the box store out of town where I may have made a purchase and found that it was not working to my liking. I did not find that the store smelled of smoke at all as the previous reviewed noted. I feel good supporting local merchants and will continue to, as to me that's what community is all about.
