I have been getting my hair cut in this place for more than a year. The place is big and bright and clean, with a relaxed atmosphere. Parvaneh is extremely profesional and takes care of every little detail of the cut. She is very knowledgeable about trends and techniques and knows how to please the costumers. I heard about this place from a friend who had had a nice experience there, so I thought I'd check it out. Am I ever glad I did! I too had Donald as a stylist, & he really listened to what I wanted. He took the time to look at what had been done before, asked what my parameters were, & we went from there. He was always professional & friendly, & he didn't take off any more than I agreed to, which a LOT of hairdressers do. I will definitely be going back, thanks Donald! Also, my husband went to see him, he was cutting off 8 inches, going from a long to a short style, & Donald made him look terrific!

I wish that my local health clinic was more like this vet! Friendly, knowledgable staff, the vets are very professional and supportive. Theyhave stayed behind after hours to talk with me when I had questions, and will call you the day after a visit or surgery to make sure you and your pet are doing ok. They also do a lot of work with VOKRA and other rescue societies, to me this tells me that they are compassionate and not in it just for the money.
It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for! I highly reccomend Dr. Burstyn and his team to anyone who wants the best for their pet!

Can't say enough good things about A& T....Would highly recommend these TCM -(Traditional Chinese Medicine) Dr's for any kind of severe pain condition,especially if you have had no response from traditional physio and massage treatments for pain relief. I suffered from severe knee,leg and back pain unresponsive to other treatments. I also had significant mobility issues.I am now mobile and pain free after several months of treatments.
I like that the treatments are cost effective and include the different therapies all for one price- ie:hot packs,electrical stimulation and the Chinese therapeutic massage( Quite different from any other massage I have had-Chinese massage was much more effective).
The lady Dr at this clinic does acupuncture. I didn't need to try her as did great on the regular treatments, but I hear from other pts. she is excellent.
These Dr's speak English fluently, as well as Mandarin. I also find them very accomodating for appts. Free parking is available at back of building and there are only a couple of stairs to go up to get into the office.

We have been going to Bopomo faithfully every year for the past 4 years. Every time we go we have the same wonderful service, the same wonderful session and the same wonderful results we have come to expect. From the start to the finish this great photo studio takes their job of capturing your family photos seriously. With a wide variety of props including antique sleds, pedal cars, "snow", leaves, stuffed animals and more the photographic artists go out of their way to create unique and individual shots. Each session they truly go above and beyond in creating copious amounts of images for you to choose your favourites to print. And that is always the hardest part! They do their job so well that we often take far too long to choose our favourites! But we never feel rushed to make a decision, we never feel that we are bothering the staff who to a person great to deal with, we just get to decide what images we are going to use to capture our memories. We love visiting this location of Choices and perusing the aisles and aisles of great products they have on offer. While they offer a wide variety of organic produce, dairy and meat they also offer a good selection of less expensive conventional products that are naturally raised. With friendly staff and great service we are often happy to spend our money here. They have nice little touches too like a balloon for the kids or the classic grocery store horsey ride that is still only 25 cents (!) just outside the store. Choices also has a great selection of specials that they offer every week and a great selection of vitamins and supplements for every need. The location is a little teeny bit out of the way but easy to get to and they have great parking. There are also a few little shops around that make it worth the drive. Visit Choices for your organic and natural food needs!

I called a few car scrapping services until I talked to Glenn. He was very professional and informative on the phone. He picked up my car in the same day that I called and paid $50 for it. If you're scrapping it yourself you have to take the car to the scrap yard that would be in Surrey for me. Anyway I'm happy with Glenn's services and I recommend him.

My wife guided me to Haircats as an excellent place to get my hair cut after her long time stylist, Anna, rented out one of the chairs there. Wow was she ever right! Anna cuts my hair as is she has been cutting it for the last 20 years. I've never had a stylist who has been able to know what to do to that will work with my hair so well. If Anna is not available it seems like all of the other stylists at this shop are a friendly group and the way the shop bustles almost all the time there seems to be a good amount of repeat clientele...always a good sign. They also offer a good selection of products and use those products in the salon as well. What's more the walls are ever changing with a rotating exhibition of art from local artists. If you see something you really like you can even buy it! Located near the corner of Broadway and MacDonald Haircats is centrally located and easy to get to or pop into as you stroll the shops of Broadway in Kits. If you are looking for a wonderful place to get your hair cut and styled Haircats is a great place to go!

The lovely and friendly hygienist gave me the most thorough cleaning I have ever had and the dentist also gave me a complimentary scan to look for any oral cancers. It gave me great piece of mind to get the all clear. Overall, I was surprised at what a genuinely pleasant experience I had.

This is a great little stop and eat Thai restaurant. They give you sit down meals at to-go prices. The decor is simple, bright, and very clean. There is no "Thai" decor except the King's picture, but they have a few tables as well as stool seating along window with a view of West Broadway .
I like this place because it's very fast and a really good value. Their Combo specials are under $10.00 and the lunch specials even cheaper! ( I think they are 7.99) The portions are perfect and for the price of a fast food meal you get authentic Thai curry and rice loaded with your choice of meat and veggies. It is almost all Thai people that work there and if you can handle the heat you can ask for "Thai style" and get the dishes with a much hotter spicy flavor.
So next time you are doing a little shopping on West Broadway and got a rumble in your stomach drop by!
They are located 1/2 a block West from MacDonald street on Broadway on the South Side of the street. They are fast, but if you want to take your time there is free parking on the side street next to them.
