A wonderful bookshop - well worth some time for browsing. It is wonderful to still have bookshops like this, where we can enjoy the smell and feel of old tomes.

Our son was looking for a specific basketball card. He found it here. He was told $5.00. My son said he would be back with his allowance. My husband went to buy the card as a surprise for my son for Christmas. The owner gave my husband the card as a gift! Thank you so much!

A friend and I went to this amazing store yesterday for a smudging sage stick and feather but there were so many nice things there that my friend spent 200.00 and since thier prices are so good I'm going back today to buy some things that I love!! I did not realize this gem of a store was in New West! Usually you can only find and I this type of store offering such unique items in Vancouver!! I will definitely be a repeat customer! Even though I do a lot of book shopping online these days I still love going to Chapters and browsing the aisles and aisles and aisles of books. This store is great by virtue of its location and the knowledgeable staff who can guide you to almost any title in the store. It is also a great place to while away an afternoon flipping through books you may buy since the staff pretty much leaves you to your own devices if this is what you are choosing to do. They also have a great little gift section for unique and interesting gift items. They used to have a pretty good music section but this is being renovated right now...possibly because they are no longer going to carry music. Head into Chapters at Broadway and Granville and lose yourself in the books!

I get the sense that the collection on offer here has been painstakingly selected by a highly skilled and intelligent librarian. The staff are always very helpful and never obtrusive.
Within a few seconds of entering this tiny store I always find title after title that immediately grabs my interest.
Not many "bargains" on offer, but everything I've bought has been well worth the price I paid.
You won't regret travelling a few extra miles to get here.
