We came here for my sister's birthday and we all had a great time! The food, wow, was so good! The dessert crepes just made our night even better than it already was. We had a bit of wine, some people had beer (my boyfriend said their beer list was actually really good) and coffees. Everything was really good. Our server was lovely. The prices were fair, the decor is so neat (even their bathrooms are nice). I cannot wait to go back here...highly recommended. Lire plus

The waiters and waitresses are usually pretty busy, but always make a clear effort to serve their customers. Fish and chips are excellent. Buffalo Chicken burger is amazing! The trucker's poutine has hamburger, cheese, and fries and is served on a huge platter. Very filling! The caesar salad, when ordered as a side dish is just excellent! The garlic bread is the best in town. Huge milkshakes! I love that you can come here any day, any time and they will serve you breakfast or dinner at 2:00AM. Nice atmosphere and large windows. Although the wait times can be a bit tedious, it's usually worth it. Prices are fair. The seniors menu is great for grandma! Lire plus

Wes' is one of those hidden gems that never fails to satisfy. Tasty, flavourful fries that never taste oily. They only sell French Fries and they don't need anything else as people still come from miles around. Although Boston Pizza is a big chain, I consider it a unique restaurant for our little town of Pembroke. The staff greet you right away and don't keep you waiting too long. Take-out is always a snap. The menu is huge and sometimes they get the order wrong. There's really something for everyone here. The Thai Bites are very spicy but tasty. The pasta is really fresh and filling. They go a little onion-happy sometimes so if you don't like onions make sure you tell them. The automated bathroom is an interesting concept, but with the amount of technology put into it, why do you have to open the door by the handle? Lire plus

The restaurant itself is pretty nice...good decor, good size, was accomodating to a large group, and had fairly good service. The food, however, wasn't so good. The menu said the spaghetti sauce was homemade and one of their 'claims to fame', but it tasted like canned sauce with some mushrooms thrown in. The meatballs were definately frozen before being thrown into the sauce. They didn't have that cooked in sauce taste that good meatballs have. Many of the people I was with had the schnitzel and they all thought it was good though, so if you're going, order that and don't bother with the pasta! Lire plus

Pembroke is really lucky to have such a full-fledged buffet. Everything is well cooked and unlike some places, doesn't all taste the same. The spicy pork is really spicy and has a fresh taste. The chicken balls have lots of meat and the red sauce goes well with them. If you arrive too early some dishes won't be ready, but when they are ready, the staff keep everything replenished quickly. You won't leave hungry! I LOVE the shrimp skewers! The atmosphere is nice and calm, although it's a little chilly in the winter somtimes. The parking lot can get really full and a bit tricky to get in and out of. The staff are friendly but the need to interact is minimal in a buffet restaurant. The one lady always says "Enjoy your meal" even when there's no meal in front of you, and sometimes when you're paying and leaving. Lire plus

The food here is so delicious. The menu is huge! All the dishes taste really fresh and the "bubble tea" is amazing! I forget what I ordered exactly, but it was spicy cripsy chicken on top of noodles. It was excellent. They also have the deep-fried standards like chicken wings, rice, and chicken balls. Anyone remember the chicken balls at Cresent Gardens? These are the closest that I've tasted to that recipe. I love the atmosphere! There's always karaoke music playing in the background, and the floors and tables are spotless. The little asian lady always has an interesting story to tell. All in all, although a bit expensive this restaurant makes great food, has a nice atmosphere. I'll be back! Lire plus
