It is no secret in this restaurant community as to the reason for certain negative reviews. It is just so sad and appalling that this is going on. My only wish is that the reviews being posted by “virtual” customers cease as it is becoming, quite frankly, very tiresome and extremely predictable. Let’s leave this space for “authentic” customers. It is incomprehensible how this continues. When success is achieved through honesty, morals and a strong work ethic it is a shame that those who do not share these qualities try to ride the coattails of those who do and take the low road by continually trying to defame them. I wish the family run La Mexicanada Restaurant continued success. After 9 years of backbreaking hard work and a strong devotion to their customers and paisanos they deserve nothing less. The food is 100% authentic, the recipes are from the owner’s own family, who by the way are an “authentic” Mexican family still residing in “authentic” Mexico. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had at a restaurant. I have been back 5x this month alone! The bacon is thick. Homefries are real potatoes and seasoned to perfection. I always order the bacon with 3 eggs, homefries and toast, with coffee. Total comes to just over $8.00. Free coffee refills and a fresh skewer of fruit (not a dried orange slice, but apples, pineapple, strawberry, melon, orange and sometimes even a gooseberry)! The meal has always been served piping hot and the coffee never gets to the bottom. I love it at Hot Stacks. Thank you for a great breakfast, every time! Lire plus

the food was amazing and the service was very good. once we got our food they asked us if it was all we needed and how we were doing. this is a great place to take your kids. they have amazing different dishes for all age groups. there is even a kids corner for young children to play. Today was the first day I had been there in years, and things have changed... For the better :) I took my children there so they could see the streetcar like I did when I was younger. All of the staff was warm and welcoming, the streetcar was closed when I arrived but they overheard my childrens disappointment and opened the doors just for us. We were served promptly, and our food was ready in no time. Which I know for me is important when you take out your kids cause they can be soo impatient. My burger was cooked just the way I like it and my cheese was actually melted on which doesn't always happen in the fast food business. The onion rings were a little different than what I remember but they had a good combination of a crisp outside and a soft batter inside. My kids had more of my shake then I did but they seemed to love it lol. I will deffinately be goin back this summer on my way tothe cottage, it's so worth waiting for. Oh. Before I forget, parents be warned they don't have kids burgers, only nuggets which I thought were actually a great portion size. Oh and they're a cash only business they have an ATM, the only annoying thing about stopping in was the people in front of me in line didn't see the signs that clearly say cash only and held every one up. To conclude I LOVE SUPERBURGER. Lire plus

This place is fabulous! We managed to get seats at the bar ( having realized that you need a reservation; plenty of other have the same idea when it comes to Sunday Brunch... ) and were treated to a culinary feast with one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The menu is short but extremely well designed with each dish a perfect harmony of exquisite flavors. My boyfriend and I shared the Salmon Benny and the BLT, both were mouth wateringly amazing. I would highly recommend anyone who likes brunch to take the trip to Eugenia and visit the Flying Chestnut, it is well worth the drive! Lire plus

There aren't many places in the area where one can get fish & chips, unless they drive to Barrie and go to Fancies Fish & Chips. Blue Water Fish & Chips is a small restaurant with a tired decor. Mind you there are historical photos of boats that have travelled Georgian Bay & the Great Lakes and are interesting to look at.. We love the halibut served here. While the portion size is small it is extremely tasty, with mild tasting halibut and a golden batter. After the second or third bite you can taste & feel the grease but isn't that to be expected with deep fried fish? I've never eaten fish & chips that I haven't tasted the grease. We hate it when the restaurant is closed for vacation. We love eating here and they even have lots of newspapers and reading material for those of us that prefer to read while we're eating. All we've ever ordered has been the fish & small chips or else we'll order 2 fish and a small chip each and we never go away hungry. Lire plus
