My Family, friends and I have been going to the Egg and I for years and although I never thought of writing a review, I have to this time. We were greeted immediately and only waited a few minutes for a table to clear, it was packed! We celebrated my birthday last Sunday and I was craving their Herb Feta Omelette, with a side of Cherry Pink Bacon, which in my opinion is the BEST brand to buy, and cooked to my perfection. Our drinks came out fast, coffee was fresh and always available but what I appreciated most was all our food came out at the same time. Everyone enjoyed their order and we all devoured the Banana Walnut Pancakes. I've been to fine dining and can't stand when my portion is the size of my palm and our food is not served at the same time. The Egg and I is a wonderful, fun Family Breakfast restaurant in Hamilton. After contracting Covid I could not get out to get pizza so I called Hi Line at Gage Ave. and my bank card would not work. After several tries the manager sent the food anyway and told me to pay when I was able to get there. The pizza and wings are really good and have always been hot when they arrive. Will not go anywhere else for my pizza or wings again!!!! Best place ever!!! Lire plus
