Bit of a boring spring menu but anxious to go back and see what they create for summer. Close to Niagara region and lots of wonderful fresh produce and farm products. Last weekend we were a party of 21 in the small function room beside the dining room. Our group was all ages from 18 - 80. Everyone ordered something different off of the menu from the sea food platter to the turkey dinner. Food was great; well prepared, hot, service was friendly. We were all very pleased. REALLY EXCELLENT PASTAS! GREAT PIZZA!! REALLY GOOD CALZONE! Waitresses are really attentive and good as well. We Were So Happy to Find a Good Italian Restaurant. Not Fancy, but Good Food. We don't live in Hamilton, but drove there as heard it was a "good restaurant'. Well it was sooo good we went back the Next Friday Nite as Well! Pasta's were very fresh, cooked Al dente, and the Salmon (cream sauce with Salmon) Was EXCELLENT. Salmon super tasty and fresh!! and alot of it in the Pasta!! Ordered 4 cheese Pizza - shared it - it was really good! Ceasar Salads were ok, no compaints. Waitress gave us really good suggestions.. knew the menu well and suggested some popular (and her favourite items). We were impressed. She even was ontop with her wine selections... lol. Young girl, but ontop of her game! Only down side, is it can be a bit noisey. There was a large party at the end of the restaurant - and the kids were loud, as were the adults. No separation from the others... so made dinner conversation a bit challenging. However the second time we went there - no large party - and the sound was fine. My husband ordered a dessert - red velvet cake he said it was excellent..! Enjoyed every bite. DEFINATELY WILL RETURN! GOOD FOOD , GOOD VALUE, GOOD PRICE!!! Lire plus

Visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday afternoon after driving by several times and not even realizing that it was really there (found it on restaurantica). We all shared a bunch of appetizers which were all great (huge portions so we took a lot of food home) and then my husband and I split the clubhouse and a burger. The burger was the best that I had ever had, and the clubhouse was great. I was with a party of 5 and we were all totally shocked by the huge portions that we received. The service was extremely friendly and speedy and we were made to feel like we were right at home. The server even wrote out a list of their daily specials for us so that we would know for the next time we came back. The place was super busy and I can see why. I have a feeling that this will turn into our new local spot for dinner and drinks. Great atmosphere with cliental that seemed to be from toddler right through to the elderly and prices are extremely reasonable.. for all of the food we ordered it probably would have cost double anywhere else! My friends and I went for a late lunch, we thought that we would make "do" with whatever they had left over, we were kind of lingering at the bar, because we didnt want to seem obtrusive...However we were warmly welcomed and encouraged to sit at a table, clean & spottless after which our server came to us with menus, water, & suggestions!! we ordered the margerhita pizza, caesar salad with chicken & an order of bruschetta...the food was served to us by a very gracious man, whom we later found out was the owner!! How refreshing was that, the other guests, patrons, regualars & staff went about their business & gave us the utmost attention, felt like we went to an old friends house for lunch, gave us all a feeling of warmness, & we felt connected to everyone!!!!!! I went to Alfredo's for the first time today because of the rave reviews I have read and it did NOT disappoint! I tried the pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs. The taste is authentic Italian and SO fresh! The sauce they use is delicious! Alfredo himself is so friendly and and kind. He makes you feel right at home! I just wish that there was more of a seating area since I live kind of far to come and get it for take-out (which is the main business they do).
