I have been to Kawa several times since moving to the area and have also ordered takeout from kawa and it has been nothing but delicious. The restaurant is super cute, it almost feels like you are eating in your own kitchen, The wait staff are super friendly, helpful and quick. My take-out experiences have been jsut as wonderful and the food is ALWAYS fresh. I will never go to another sushi restaurant other than kawa, it's that amazing. I visited for the first time on Christmas Parade night. It was packed, fortunately a couple were leaving and we got the only table. That was luck. I was amazed that we were waited on so quickly. food a wrap and fries was delicious along with s glass of white wine. My husband and I had heard about this new little restaurant downtown and decided to go in for a bite to eat. The decor is so relaxing. Beautiful antique tables, candles, jazz playing in the background. Our server was excellent, very warm and professional. For drinks there was a variety of hand crafted beers which made my husband happy ( I stuck to wine, not much of a beer drinker ). We shared the mussels to start , which were the best I've ever tasted. The sauce was fabulous! I then had the chicken valentino , and my husband had the roast beef. The food was superb!
