Not sure why there are bad reviews on here. Must have visited at a bad time or something. I eat here almost weekly and am never let down. The menu is always improving and the service is pretty well standard- GREAT. Drinks specials are always happening and there are usually seasonal deals as well. If something does go wrong (which is inevitable once in a while in ANY restaurant), a manager always comes out to fix the problem and adjust the bill accordingly. Keep it up Kelseys Lire plus

Went here for a friends birthday and was not disappointed! The martini list is by far the best I have ever seen and the little tappa type appetizers we ordered hit the spot. I'm not sure why there is a single poor review here. My husband and I go all the time, and have yet to be even slightly dissapointed. The steak deal is not only one of the best deals in town, but done to perfection and moutwateringly spectacular every time. We've ordered nearly everything on the menu and will continue to do so. As far as the staff, perhaps on one or two occasions a yound girl just isn't well suited for the job...but hey, that's life.Overall the staff are very friendly and will go the extra mile to satisfy us. Kismet is my go-to place for Indian/Bangladeshi food in Waterloo. I usually get take out because the space is pretty small, and I've never had a problem with the people at the cash. My partner is not a fan of cilantro and they've never given as a problem when we ask for items without. Their naan is the best I've had in Waterloo (Grain of Salt in Cambridge is the only place I've tried with better naan). Much better than the sort of pancakey stuff I've seen at other places *cough*Curry in a Hurry. I really like their aloo gobi, which is potato and caulifower with curry spices. Please disregard those few negative reviews, there will always be grumpy/negative people. We keep going to Kittiya and we keep introducing friends and business associates who become fans themselves. Yes, plates of food sometimes arrives a few minutes apart from each other, and that is because they are prepared FRESH with no shortcuts!!! If you want instant food, go to a buffet or pre-order for pickup! It was my first time there and loved it! I ordered the perch and fries (ate inside, so their great little buffet was included with my meal!) The perch was done to perfection, so tasty! The buffet was great, with the different salads and the amazing fruit to finish my meal off. I enjoyed the old pictures, so much history there! Our server was very friendly and most attentive.
