I go there every week or more times with or without friends or clients. You can sit down or take out the food and the staff is great. They make good food that I enjoy very much. The lady can really cook good food. Lots of people go there even though there's a few other caribbean restaurants in the area. I tell many people about Yolas since they came to downtown from the other location. 5 stars for Yolas. yeaaaah Lire plus

I'll try to keep this short and sweet (like my wife ha) but we will definitely, 100% be returning to this place. We were in recently and the staff were so nice. We made a day of it and took it all to the lake and it was so nice to be able to enjoy such nice foods. I'd just butcher the pronounciations and whatnot, but suffice to say, you should order a lot of the extras that they have, in addition to the roti, which itself is amazing. The goat was soft and tender, but gamey too. If you're not a real meat-enthusiast, you may wanna steer clear of goat and get something more pallette friendly, like chiken or the chickpea roti. The doubles, oh the doubles! A double, from the best I can tell, is like this little chickpea-dough crepe, that is filled with refried beans and then the whole shebang is deep fried. Yeah, it's pretty much heaven. It comes with this hot sauce that really cuts to your core, so be careful. You'll sweat, but as us chiliheads admit, that's what you want. There's also pholourie, which is like a timbit, but made of a lightly-spiced chickpea dough, and it's a really nice, chewie snack that is just amazing. Well, as you can tell, I'm getting hungry writing this, so I should probably stop. Regardless of that, you should definitely check this place out. We've had excellent experiences with the food both times we have had it. Once was take-out and last night we dined in! This type of food is relatively new to me, but it's definitely something that my wife and I have enjoyed discovering! The service was a bit on the slow side but then again, we were surprised with how busy the place was on a Sunday night! That must say something about how good the food is! Once we got our food, we enjoyed it thoroughly. The inside was much nicer than I expected looking from the outside and the portions were large enough that my wife and I both had leftovers for lunch! I love my spanish empanadas, but these Jamaican Beef empanadas or "Patties"..so they call them are extremely delicious...nice and spicy, the way i like it.. i tried beef and seafood patties and i had to drive back to buy 6 of each for my family to try. i wish they had a "PATTY TIME" store in las vegas. i cannot wait to revisit toronto again just for this food. I just moved into the area in Aug 2017 and saw there $4.99 lunch special, decided to see what was on offer and I was pleasantly surprises with the selection. Excellent food made by people who care. The Chicken Roti is excellent. Spiced just right, and a good sized portions. The meal is fresh, made to order and the service friendly. My kids are now big fans of Caribbean food. The Doubles are also very good. The Jerk Chicken and Ox Tails are delicious. My family and I get take out here about once every three weeks.
