Sophia was my server this evening and she was so professional, personable & friendly, did not rush us but always there when we needed her. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and would hire her in a New York minute. This is the second time I have had the pleasure of her amazing service. A rare find sometimes! This pub used to be a favorite during my law enforcement days, long ago, and the quality and atmosphere has not changed. A great place and even orchestrated a Xmas party in 2018 for a former company as the staff morale was low, and to this day several former peers still brag about my success in single handedly planning the highly successful event. Now, its our adult son's favorite pub with his pal and the jambalaya, nachos, fish and chips and more make this place rock over the decades.

This is a great pub. We ate regulars there at Mickeys now. The staff greet you when you come in. The food has always beenf good. And the prices are great. The photos that are on here are super old.

A great restaurant with a really cosy, warm atmosphere. Were there during our honeymoon and the staff was really pleasant. The food was very good, if a bit pricey. Tried one of the BC wines and was surprised by how good it was. Service could have been more attentive but was sincere and friendly when we got it. Would recommend you try it if only for the atmosphere and the food

Great British-themed pub in Newport Village! During the Fall and Winter months it is often packed with a casual, yet fun crowd all weekend long. There is live entertainment on the weekends, which can be fun as well. The servers are attentive and the food is generally good (for pub food). I recommend sticking to the more traditional dishes like the stuffed baby yorkies, Guinness soup, shepherd’s pie, and the steak and Guinness pie (my fave!). We were there this past weekend for the first time in awhile and we realized why we love it so much – it’s that comfortable pub down the street when the weather is bad and you don’t feel like cooking!

Great place for drinks and small bites to absorb the alcohol. I love their sandwich board with clever remarks to draw in customers. I am a repeat customer. It can get really busy here.
