After being messed around by my own insurance after I was rear ended, I had finally had enough and knew I needed professional help. I reached out to Wagners, and was paired with Lisa quite quickly. The entire team at Wagners has made a terrible and energy draining situation much more manageable. They constantly keep me updated, and answer any questions I have quickly. My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at The Bicycle Thief last night. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our meal after the order was taken. Totally unable to have any conversation during our wait (noisy).
I had ravioli that consisted of 8 pieces of ravioli in a sauce for $21.00 so I left feeling hungry. The waitress did the best she could but I will never go back or take anyone with us.

My wife and I were at The Auction House for dinner last week. Great food and reasonable prices. They were very attentive to my wife's special diet needs. I could not finish all the two huge pieces of fish they were so good and the fries come in a beautiful small replica of a wire basket lined in newspaper. Go ! Enjoy !

I found this place a few years back at the brewery market and i fell in love instantly. one of the only places in halifax that serves gluten free pizza, and they make their own crusts! yumm. i like to come in and buy a large supply of crusts, freeze them, and then make my own pizzas as i please. it makes for an easy meal any time...i would recommend this bakery to everybody.

In a city with a disproportionate number of Thai restaurants, Baan Thai has always been my favourite. The old location was very cool, hidden in an alley, I had no clue what I was in for the first time I went. The move to Blower's made the place easier to find, and the food remained great.
Lunch specials from 11:30 to 3:000pm mean you can get a delicious filling meal for around $10. I am a fan of the green curry chicken made Thai spicy. The pad thai is also very good, and comes in a size that makes sure you won't leave hungry.
The previous reviews on this place are pretty polarizing, but I'm firmly standing my ground that this is a solid choice for thai food in downtown Halifax.
A few co-workers and I decided to check out Baan Thai for lunch, and although the place was very warm (it is summer after all), we were pleased to have ample cool water, great service, and a surprisingly awesome lunch served to us.
Service overall feels a bit formal and disjointed, but I'm going to chalk that up to cute cultural differences. As one example, we ordered an appetizer, it was brought, we ate it and then plates arrived for the appetizer. It didn't bother us because we didn't care about needing the plates in the first place, so onward we ate!
