Looking for the best wings in Port?? They're at the Wiz! Wed is wing night so you can get 2lbs of wings for $8 a STEAL compared to other wing nights in town. Big, juicy & FLAVOURFUL!! Honey garlic is incredible, the best I have ever EVER had. Medium is quite hot so be prepared if you can't stand the heat, maybe go with mild. Usually we get a salad or drinks to start while we wait (as the service isn't the best). Although now they are giving you salsa & chips when you sit down which is great! A hidden gem. No need to go to Toronto for the elegance and fine dining. Just terrific! The food presentation was great and the aromas and taste were "WOW"......very pleasing to the pallette. I've eaten here many times since moving to the area and have introduced several friends to it now too. It's a small little place with a hockey theme. The booths are kind of small and can be a little claustrophobic, but there are tables out in the open area as well. The food is usually really good. I recommend their nachos. These are not your usual nachos, but are made with cross-cut potatoes with your nacho fixings on top (beef, jalapenos, cheese, olives, peppers). If you're not a big eater, just have this appetizer and you'll be full. The salads are fresh and there are usually some creative things on the specials board. Soups are good and homemade. And if you're a hockey fan, you might run into a few of the Owen Sound Attack on occasion too. Lire plus

I stopped into Boston Pizza on a Thursday night drawn in by their board out front advertising $0.50 wings in the bar. Unlike most wing-deals these wings were very meaty and a good size. Everyone in my group was also very impressed with the service and couldn't help but notice how good looking, lively and knowledgable the staff was. Compared to the BP's that I'm used to going to in the city, this small town restaurant was VERY impressive. The staff does a good job promoting the different food/drink specials that are going on every day of the week (wings tuesday and thursday and cheap domestic beer monday night etc.). Lire plus

The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was fresh and not greasy like so many other places. The chicken breast was plump and juicy. Very flavorful. Accompanied with a side garden salad, it was a crisp, heathy alternative to the usual fried companion... The fine thing about the Superpan is that it's perfectly adequate. The room is crisp but comfortable, the help are always willing to . . . help, and the food really schmecks. It's classic Southern Ontario small-town Chinese (with a few, well-produced, aspirational "dim sum" offerings). Every dish - like the combos - is so generously ladled on that there's always a need for a Styrofoam takeaway clamshell afterwards. Mostly excellent food here. Had one bad lunch where we were not impressed with the food taste on a few items. Off day? The other dozen visits food was excellent! Recommend the feta and spinach frittata! The included fruit tidbits are typically really fresh and tasty too. Service is good, friendly and fairly quick food delivery. This place is fabulous! We managed to get seats at the bar ( having realized that you need a reservation; plenty of other have the same idea when it comes to Sunday Brunch... ) and were treated to a culinary feast with one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The menu is short but extremely well designed with each dish a perfect harmony of exquisite flavors. My boyfriend and I shared the Salmon Benny and the BLT, both were mouth wateringly amazing. I would highly recommend anyone who likes brunch to take the trip to Eugenia and visit the Flying Chestnut, it is well worth the drive! Lire plus

There aren't many places in the area where one can get fish & chips, unless they drive to Barrie and go to Fancies Fish & Chips. Blue Water Fish & Chips is a small restaurant with a tired decor. Mind you there are historical photos of boats that have travelled Georgian Bay & the Great Lakes and are interesting to look at.. We love the halibut served here. While the portion size is small it is extremely tasty, with mild tasting halibut and a golden batter. After the second or third bite you can taste & feel the grease but isn't that to be expected with deep fried fish? I've never eaten fish & chips that I haven't tasted the grease. We hate it when the restaurant is closed for vacation. We love eating here and they even have lots of newspapers and reading material for those of us that prefer to read while we're eating. All we've ever ordered has been the fish & small chips or else we'll order 2 fish and a small chip each and we never go away hungry. Lire plus
