I have only ever eaten in because I don't live anywhere near the restaurant. The atmosphere is nothing to rave about, but the food is awesome! The batter is light and crispy, and the fish is always plentiful.

This was our first visit. Staff are pleasant and friendly, not to mention patient and helpful. Prices are very reasonable and the fish was quite good, not greasy and the fries were excellent.
Next trip will try the Halibut or White fish and maybe check out a pie to take home too. Nice decor, good lighting, and quite clean.

We tried it for the first time, and ordered the Arroz de marisquo (Seafood Rice Stew). One plater was enough for two adults and one child age 12 and there was still leftover for at least one more person. really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was really polite. will definitely comeback again.

I'm thinking a competitor wrote the review Small and Thin. Why else would they say they aren't good? I have been going there for years and they have the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. If they aren't a competitor, they should go back and try them again. They don't know what the're missing.

sushi has right size and not giant big like Bamboo Sushi
It also has korean food choices
Owner now is Korean and made sushi fresh
I do not see they have salmon teriyaki and no red tuner
It is nice to have those

This is the greatest Fish & Chips I have ever had. I lived in Shelburne and would go down to Orangeville just to eat here. I am actually going to stop in tonight an eat there. Everything I have tried here is so good, I think its because of how often they change the oil and quality of food <3 LOVE IT :)

i need to have my jerk fix at least once a week and this is the best spot in Mississauga - trust me i've tried everything. don't expect the best service or atmosphere - that's not because they are rude or not nice, just seems like a lot of people are going in and out. Also, a few times they've mixed up my order, so make sure they get it exactly right.
I've also noticed a few times they over salted, but that's a few times in the many many times i've been there. Overall would highly recommend this spot.

Although they're famous for their chicken, we'll be going back for their fish (and maybe try the chicken for my 'no way I'm eating fish' husband). My son and I were looking for a quick bite for lunch after doing some shopping at the nearby Scholars Choice and found this place. Smelled soo good. As we didn't see a lot of prices or labels, my son ordered the Portuguese sausage sandwich and I lingered over the windows filled with mountains of fish, rice, potatoes and was served by a very pleasant and helpful young man. I asked about a particular dish and ended up ordering the amazing looking and super delicious cod with a side of potatoes, The server put two layers of potatoes in a good sized container, covered it with the huge portion of cod and then he began spooning a loving amount of the yummy sauce over the dish. As it really isn't a sit down place, we were hungry and ate there. I paid less than $20 and was in heaven. My son enjoyed his sausage but will definitely order the cod next time. Was surprised to read about 'grumpy' servers. Ours even thanked us for coming on our way out. Maybe because it was in the early Friday afternoon, we saw that customers were served quickly (looked like they ordered huge quantities ahead) and courteously. Definitely going back for that cod. Pssst...I overhead the guy tell someone its only available Fridays and Saturdays.

After reading mixed reveiws for Big Bens, hearing fantastic word around town and finding unbelievable
deals in the local news papers. It was time to check it out for myself. Over all I had a great experience. I had a Cesar salad as an app and a beef soup for my boyfriend. The salad was a classic nothing unusual and the soup was perfect, it was thick and hardy. It tasted like my grandmother made it straight out of the garden.
I had the one pc basa and chips, it was cooked to perfection! My boyfriend ordered a rare steak and got just that. The whole presentation of his meal came as a surprise. It was beautiful. A good portion of meat, veg and lovely mashed potatoes.
The service was great, our server was friendly, she made our visit welcoming but not over baring.
We will coming back to try breakfast, heard that weekend mornings are a hit.

I have been to Lousiana last Summer and left with a bad experiance and thought of not going back again.. since all my friends forced me to go i went with them really I felt the difference comparing to my last vist.. its been newly renovated and a beautiful patio to relax and have a beer to chill out with friends. Staff really friendly and they have variety of food menu to decide on. They have a plate called land and sea which comes with lobster, Steak and shrimps which really value for money and good quality i was really impressed with the servise provided and i spoke to the Manager of Lousiana he told me how this was earlier and the new management is really working on with food quiality and provide great customer service... I will definelty go to Louisiana again and do recommand to my friends... WELL DONE LOUISIANA KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
