I hate having to take my car in to be fixed but if I had any auto place to choose from it definitely would be J rod Auto for sure! It is hard to find a good Auto shop that is honest and good at what they do.I most definitely will go back again if I have any car problems.

It’s great to have a mechanic that will be straightforward and doesn’t try to upsell you on products like dealerships or oil change facilities do!
He will always try to fit you in if you have an emergency. A great mechanic is hard to find and I always tell people how great he is. I won’t go anywhere else! You won’t be disappointed.

Contacted this garage in a total panic late on a Saturday afternoon about a problem I was having with rims/tires. The car had been at another garage all morning. They were sympathetic and told me to bring my vehicle by as soon as I could. They totally fixed the problem in just a few hours and at a reasonable price. AMAZING!! On the eve of taking a 58 Triumph to Kingston for some work my starter motor seized. I called CAA and they sent a flatbed from Johnston's towing in Peterborough. The shop sent a fellow named Ray, who clearly had a a huge level of experience in dealing with classic and show cars. I was very impressed. Johnston's, you have a very valuable employee and I appreciated the level of expertise and experience. My car arrived at the shop in perfect condition and I have never me a friendlier guy.

Always honest and very personable. Takes the time to explain the problem and checks around for the best pricing on parts therefore saving the customer money. Last repair I had done he found the part for $100 cheaper from one company compared to the other. Above and beyond the call of duty.

I Recently had a transmission problem with my van and was recommended by a friend to take it to PARKWAY RAD AND TRANSMISSION. I was expecting the worst, but the guys diagnosed it as being an electrical issue. The diagnosis was free, and they fixed it the very same day. They even drove me home and picked me up when it was finished! I was so relieved that they were honest as i was told by another MajoR TRANSMISSION shop that i would need a complete re-built at around $3000.00!! I was also pleased to learn that they perform regular maintenance and repairs as well as transmission work. PLEASE ! Do yourself a favour and go see Parkway First. It will save you a lot of money!!!!!
