Had a great experience at Egglicious! Ive been here a couple times and it is also great from the friendly staff to the fresh and most flavourfull food you can ever find in Toronto. They have lots of Skillet Omelettes and Lots of Lunch Items. I had my Egglicious Skillet Omelette(What a omelette with bacon,ham, chedder cheese with hollandaise sauce). My wife had the Lumberjack & she loved it. The food is amazing, The staff's are very friendly, The place is clean. Even the restaurant was packed our food came on time. Lumberjack 3eggs,bacon(perfectlly cooked),sasage,homefries(the best),pancakes,fruit,toast for $9.95(good deal). My skillet was 8.95 . (not a lot of breakfast joints have skillet omelette). I would recomend this place to anyone.. The quality of the food to price.. You won't find it anywhere in Toronto. Even our next table was saying the samething about the food. It's great to have a place that will actually serve a Vindaloo hot. The atmosphere is typical for an Indian restaurant, but that's really how I like it. My husband and I love Sushi........ so we have been to alot of different resturants in the city. We stumbled into Kumo one night just before Christmas, the place was empty and we were a little nervous at first but decided to stay anyways. The place smelt amazing, no sign of fishy-ness anywhere ( I refuse to eat at any sushi resturant that smells of fish) The wonderful and energenic waitress came over and offered some sugestions to start, she suggested the sushi Terimsu 9unsure of spelling) my husband is always up for trying something new but I like my usual rolls and sashimi so I decided that I would try some of his instead of getting two. Let me tell you...... I think my husband got 1 bite. It was amazing!! We ordered a big party tray for dinner, the specialty rolls ( godzilla, spicy girl, kipling, superman) are the best I have ever had! Sushi servings are massive, fish is incredible fresh. The chef is absolutly amazing at what he does, we have been back 3 more times and now leave everything up to him, his home made sauces simple extra touches make the meal!!! By far the best sushi in Toronto!!!!!!!! Things I would recomend......... Sushi Teramisu Sushi Sandwitch Heavenly Tower Godzilla Roll Superman Roll Tuna Dumplings..... Not included in the all you can eat are desserts but ginger ice cream is my fav. Beef skewers and pumpkin soup are a must try. Items come as a la carte as well. I've never written a review (and we enjoy our dinners out at various restaurants), but this place really deserves one! My husband and I drive from Pickering to have dinner here and it's always worth the drive! The ambience, service and food are all amazing! My favourite dish is the Arctic Char - it's so good that even my husband ordered it once (he's not one to order fish for dinner). He's stated that the lamb is the best he's ever had. After a movie date we were trying to get into one of the places beside the movie theatre but the wait was too long. One of the party suggested the Galway Arms close by. I've never been and I surprised to have a place with good food, service and atmosphere in the area that I hadn't heard of. And I hear its been there for 20 years too!!! We all ordered something different from the menu so we could try different things. Nachos to start - nice big portion with lots of veggies and with lots of cheese. We discovered that the Irish Stew, Shephards Pie, Burgers and Steak and Mushroom Pie were all homemade - so different from the ones you get elsewhere and you could choose if you wanted fries, salad, mashed potatoes or soup with your order. I had the Louisiana Chicken Wrap which was very tasty but its a very large portion so you'll have lunch for tomorrow. Everything was hot and really good and large enough that some of us took leftovers home. Those that didn't cleared our plates!!!!! We were divided on the fries as not all of us were big fans of the hand cut fries but those that did like them loved them - soaked in vinegar. Our server remembered everything (including all of the weird requests) without writing it down and everything came out exactly as ordered. She gave us very prompt service and was naturally friendly to us and even took time to talk to one of the guys who was thinking of a trip to Ireland by telling him when the flights would be cheaper, ideal times to visit, places in Dublin to visit etc. We've decided to make this our after movie treat from now on and look forward to the patio in the summer.
