Haven't been there in awhile but was there 2 days ago and YUM!!! Can't believe the size of the birthday cake that they gave me! Generous!! I was glad I had people to share it with as I would have burst if I'd eaten it myself!! The meal was mighty fine and the service was so good!!! Not sure what to expect but the food was amazing! All of us are Caribbean(descent or born) & tried some of the jerk items on the menu. All of the positive comments were compared to what we have eaten from our various islands & the chef(s) there would be welcomed to our islands anytime with open arms! Kudos to the authenticity of the jerk food items, well prepared & very tasty. The fries were seasoned-didn’t need ketchup or salt, mac n cheese had a nice crust on top & the burgers were fantastic! The food may not be considered fine dining, but it is very good. What makes up for it is the service. The staff at this location are fabulous. You will notice that all past reviews are all old from 7-10 years ago and no longer reflect today. The restaurant has been renovated, the worn furniture and decor replaced with more modern look, very nice atmosphere. The food is generally excellent. They have a large covered patio for outdoor eating. Surprisingly they also have a classy banquet hall downstairs for large family events so its not necessary to go out of your way. Lire plus
