On the eve of taking a 58 Triumph to Kingston for some work my starter motor seized. I called CAA and they sent a flatbed from Johnston's towing in Peterborough. The shop sent a fellow named Ray, who clearly had a a huge level of experience in dealing with classic and show cars. I was very impressed. The guys at this Midas shop were really great, they did everything really fast when I needed my entire muffler line replaced. When they quoted me I was as usual not thrilled about the price but gave them the go ahead for the repairs anyway. 20 minutes later I received another phone call from one of their staff saying that they found the parts from another supplier. I Recently had a transmission problem with my van and was recommended by a friend to take it to PARKWAY RAD AND TRANSMISSION. I was expecting the worst, but the guys diagnosed it as being an electrical issue. The diagnosis was free, and they fixed it the very same day. They even drove me home and picked me up when it was finished! I was so relieved that they were honest as i was told by another MajoR TRANSMISSION shop that i would need a complete re-built at around $3000.00!! I was also pleased to learn that they perform regular maintenance and repairs as well as transmission work. PLEASE ! Do yourself a favour and go see Parkway First. I loved taking my car in to Danny's garage, everyone working there was so friendly. I only lived a few blocks away but I still thought it was very nice that they offered to drop me off at my house a few times. AND when my muffler pipe was falling off but still attached he recommended me to take it to a muffler place instead because they would have had tools to repair(bend it back into place and weld it on) it instead of just replace it like he would have had to do.
