Wonderful experience with Active Management. As new comers to Canada it is very difficult to find a place and feel safe. The ladies in the office were very helpful and informative. They helped my family adjust to our new apartment and made us feel like we were more then just tenants. I would not hesitate suggesting Active Management to my friends and family.

They provide a great support and care to students if they are in need. Very helpful instructors, administration and student support team. They responded quickly on your problems and find a solutions. In the past 3 months of my program, I feel confident and gained knowledge too quickly. I love the school.

I walked in Queen nails and to be warmly greeted by an older lady who was the sweetest thing on earth. I was promptly seated and serviced.
The man who did my nails was very friendly to me and knew how to do his job well and confidently. Get this, my nails took about a half an hour to finish at most and are the most beautifully done, strong, even, clear nails I have ever got. (and I have been through oodles of nail techs) Compared to some places I have been to where they took 2-3 hours and they still lift or chip etc. The environment was clean and everyone looked happy and content.
It was such a nice experience for a change. I was so happy after this.
I am not sure about the other comments and not so good experiences but I thought I would give this place a shot and now will definitely be giving them my business and letting others know.
P.S. Can't beat the price 30 bucks (before tax), I got a pink sparkly tip, no extra charge for colored tips!

I bought my wedding dress from Helene's at a sample sale, and had it altered there as well. Shelly was very helpful when looking for the style of dress I wanted, within my budget. Their seamstress is pretty good too. Overall I was quite satisfied with my dress, the service, and the quality (and speed!) of the alterations.

Dhoom is one of my favorite restaurants in Winnipeg. The servers aren't overly polite, nor are they hospitable, but, they do serve food and take orders very effectively and efficiently.
The food is outstanding and there are Groupons, coupons, specials and buffets with food from all over the world. The food is really outstanding and the lounge is very relaxing. A big five stars to you Dhoom :)

The owner Mike is a standup guy. Needed a battery for my truck a couple years ago and they had the most cost effective one I could find. When my battery gave up again less than 2 years later he replaced it with a better one and with a longer warranty (he no longer carried the brand i had as he found a better supplier). I was expecting an upgrade fee but he didn't charge me one. He said he wants to take care of customers and will look after the warranty. Quality service and reasonable rates.

I went in one day after window browsing several times before. I needed a vacuum...badly. I had very little money and wanted something compact and functional (I have a fluffy dog and two cats). The owner showed me a nice little vacuum, newish, compact, and for only 35.00. It works wonderfully. I recommend this little shop to all who need a vacuum or service.

I have a young Shepard cross and he hates his nails cut! I took him and my older female Shepard cross to get their nails cut and we were in and out in 10 min! It was amazing how the staff could so easily manage my hyper active dog and contain him long enough to cut his nails. Also extremely affordable, I'm so impressed!
