I purchased the extended protection plan with my eyewear. It was among the best decisions I've made as a consumer. Lenscrafters is an all-around great company. They provide the gift of sight to the financially challenged. Before I rose above the poverty line, Lenscrafters gift of sight program for glasses when I was down and out and without a home. We took both of our daughters (3.5 and 1) to get their eyes checked with Dr. Clement Chan, and he did very well to make the eye exam quick and fun for them. My elder daughter had told him about her favourite Disney princess, and Clement prepared a special video of that princess for her to watch during one part of her eye exam. We appreciated Clement's thoroughness and friendliness, and will definitely be back.
As a bonus, his office is newly renovated and right besides Menchie's.

The staff were very helpful and informative, which was great as it was my first eye appointment. They took the time to help me pick out a great pair of glasses and answered all my questions. I was there on a Saturday and got a call my glasses were ready the following Friday.

I've been buy my glasses from them since 2003. I know the original owner as I sold computers to him. The current owner is Wayne and he is very knowledgeable about eye wear. They sell both regular glasses as well as contact lens. They don't rush me and explains clearly to me the options I've and the advantage/disadvantage of each choice. I live in Vancouver and tried the optician near me. It constantly broke, they gave me a refund and I went back to Wayne. I learn my mistake and switched back.
