Fred is absolutely the best mechanic you'll find in the Durham area. I've been dealing with him for over 20 years, and trust his judgement. He is one of the few that won't try to take advantage of a women with car trouble.

I just wanted to thank the helpful staff at Superior Transmission for all their help. Like most other skeptical and hesitant car owners I have been given the run around by most shops. A friend recommended Superior for a minor repair he had done, and needing more major repairs I decided to stop by. I was given an exact break down of what needed to be done. Furthermore, they gave me options that I had no idea because other shops were constantly trying to upsale me.
These guys are a young group looking to establish a solid reputation in the area. I have already had both my cars come through there and my neighbours car is there now. I highly recommend these guys and at the very least stop by and ask their opinion.
Good luck guys and I'll see you in 3 months for that oil change.

I brought a car into here to deal with a check engine light and I had a minor exhaust leak. The engine light was something I could handle myself, and I declined the repair for the engine code. They didn’t give me a hard time about the code and fixed the exhaust leak. Extremely professional. Would definitely recommend this place.

I went to Steve's Discount auto yesterday for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the owner who was knowledgeable, courteous and didn't try to rip me off. The price I was told on the phone was the price I paid. I will definitely go back. It's nice to find a garage you can trust.

Gord is the best tech I have ever met. His commitment to the proper repair and technique is unmatched by any mechanic probably because he is a full on journeyman that has always been able to diagnose and repair anything. Their is no room for screw ups or over billing due to his competency. I am a local shop owner and tech and Gord is a constant supply of technical assistance to us and many other shops that call him for advise. Got a big $ quote somewhere else, call him. Make sure its right.

I went here on a referral from a friend, and my experience was 5 star. There was a hole in my exhaust, and being honest with me he didn't try to rip me by replacing entire sections and pipes. He welded an a section to cover the hole while I waited, and charged me very little . I have since then referred him to friends who were also happy with repairs here .

First time dealing with Rick at Midway Driveline and was very impressed with his service and honesty.
Repaired a serious coolant leak in my 2006 F250 Diesel truck, was expecting a major repair bill as I thought the radiator was split or the water pump was shot. Ended up being a $5 clamp so I ended up with a relatively inexpensive repair when I was was expecting a major expense. Nice to be treated fairly and honestly and would highly recommend Midway Driveline and Rick to anyone.

I hate having to take my car in to be fixed but if I had any auto place to choose from it definitely would be J rod Auto for sure! It is hard to find a good Auto shop that is honest and good at what they do.I most definitely will go back again if I have any car problems.

The guys at Scott's Custom Classics did a great job on the gas tank on my truck - it took far longer than expected to complete the job due to rusty bolts and tight fitting parts, but they only charged what they estimated up front - nothing extra for the additional time needed.
Scott's is now on my short list of go-to auto shops!
