My fave fish and chips place! I've tried tried a couple of places in Toronto but this one for me has been the best. The crowd here generally is seniors. Food and service is great. I always get halibut for fish and chips. They make it nice and crispy, tastes fresh, and not too oily. The chips r fresh and filling. My friends enjoyed the food too when I take them.

Everything was so perfect, I like the way every dish had unique flavours, fresh herbs and seasonings, the homemade smoked sambal aioli was to die for on the fritters, we bought a jar to go, the food is inventive and well executed and we will gladly make the drive from Waterloo any day for that caliber of food.

This is Port Credit's best kept secret. At one time, another business, now closed, was considered the place to eat F & C. I always thought there was a better place. HERE IT IS! Has more to offer than F & C, and their food has less oil, than the other restaurants. Try this and I'll bet you will love it also!

I moved from Unionville to Newmarket two years ago. I still make a monthly pilgrimage to Mr Fish and Chips because I haven't found anything remotely comparable from here to Vaughan. The fish batter is light and flaky. Their chips are good, but the potato fritters (my personal favourite) are lip-smacking goodness.
The eat-in area is pretty basic. Definitely NOT somewhere to go on a first date. Come for the food, not the ambiance.

I was here on a friday night te place is small and most likely family owned BUT the halibut and chips were delicious! The halibut is perfectly crisp and the fries are crisp but not overcooked!
An order of halibut and chips w/ a small order of coleslaw is $9.65 + tax which isn't bad at all! I will definitely be going back!

My husband and I came here for lunch with our three boys and we were not disappointed! Three of us ordered the fish and chips - husband said they were the best in the City he has ever had. Light batter and lots of fish. I had a small greek salad with extra chicken - very tasty, and the chicken was tender and well seasoned. My middle child had the "killer" burger and he was very pleased. Portions were very good, price was right and everything tasted great. Not your greasy spoon type - very clean

This is the Best fish and chip shop outside of England. My cousins and I always go there for dinner after a visiting the relatives at St Johns Cemetery. The service is excellent and they are always ready to answer questions about their history. Highly recomend.

I came on good friday april 19,2019. I had the new orleans salmon with baked potato with butter and sour cream and rice. Was absolutely amazing taste and cooked perfect. It came with diced tomatoes and cilatro with some shrimp in like a cajun butter sauce. With those delicious biscuits they famous for and i even had a side ceasar salad. If i wasnt actually impressed i wouldn’t come back. I havent been to red lobster for about 10 years but today i was stunned how good it was.

We have been here two times for dinner. The atmosphere is good, but a bit tight space to sit.
The service is great and fast.
The portions were big and the deal it, that you get a complementary delicious set of eggplant dips with bread.
The food we had was very tasty and good. I don't recall the menus we had, but I recall that we liked it.
All in all a pretty good food with the nice idea of the free appetizers. Always good to just hop in for a good spontaneous dinner.

i need to have my jerk fix at least once a week and this is the best spot in Mississauga - trust me i've tried everything. don't expect the best service or atmosphere - that's not because they are rude or not nice, just seems like a lot of people are going in and out. Also, a few times they've mixed up my order, so make sure they get it exactly right.
I've also noticed a few times they over salted, but that's a few times in the many many times i've been there. Overall would highly recommend this spot.

One of my favourite things is to go down to St Lawrence on a Saturday with a friend who is peameal or eggplant obsessed (you know who you are!) and convince them that "this week, we go to Churrasco St Lawrence, and next week we'll get yours". We never go for their sandwich, because they are always instant converts.
All take-away, you can't miss with their huge Chicken Sandwich, what appears to be most of a chicken completely infused with the fantastic sauce with lettuce and tomato. With or without mayo.
The sandwich is enough to give you a big grin and a full belly, but I usually find room for a custard tart, something akin to a creme brulee taste in a buttery yet flaky, almost phyllo-style shell. Yeah.
They do full rotisserie chickens and a range of other foods too, but to be honest in 4 years I've never gotten past the sandwich. I'm hooked.
If you've had a night on the town, a few bites into this mamma jamma and you'll be saying the same thing I am.

I've never been inside, but they sometimes have a girl outside with a table of foil take-out dishes around dinner time, all for 3 dollars. It's one of the best values in Chinatown, just take it home and make your own rice. fast, convenient and I've never had anything I didn't like. They do, however, have bitter melon in about half the dishes. If there were more bitter melon-free dishes, I would certainly eat there more often.
