$5 Promo

I drove across town to get the $5 footlong promo only to be told that the promo had 'ended'. I had checked on the internet before leaving home to find out which subways in town had the promo. Why if promo had 'ended' was it still on Subways web site? I could have gone to a Subway a couple of blocks away instead of across town. When I got home I checked the site again and its still advertised.
